The Pilots

The Millville Army Air Field has a rich history of pilots training at the base. During its three year existence, thousands of soldiers and civilians served here, with about 1500 pilots receiving advanced fighter training in the Thunderbolt. This list includes RTU (Replacement Training Unit) and OTU(Operational Training Unit) pilots, and Millville's 14 fallen pilots.

RTU Pilots

Millville Replacement Training Unit (RTU) P-47 Pilots. There is no complete list of those who trained at the Millville AAF. This list was compiled using military orders and other documents from the Army Air Forces.

OTU Pilots

Millville Operational Training Unit (OTU) Pilots. There is no complete list of those who trained at the Millville AAF. This list was compiled using military orders and other documents from the Army Air Forces.
